Barbican tube is served by the Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines. On arrival at the station, exit onto Aldgate Street and turn left - then left again onto Carthusian street. You’ll soon see the pub up on the right hand side.

If you’re walking to the pub from Smithfields Market, head up Charterhouse Street towards Charterhouse Square, then turn onto Carthusian Street. The pub will be on the left hand side.
Local Attractions
The nearby Barbican Centre hosts a variety of plays, theatre productions, art exhibitions and music events, making The Sutton Arms the perfect place to eat and drink before indulging in a spot of culture.
St Paul’s Cathedral is nearby too and well worth a visit, while TV fans may want to take a trip to Charterhouse Square and Florin court filming locations for shows like Poirot & Jekyll & Hyde.
